WILDWAYS is a Nature Connection and Awareness programme based on the acclaimed 8Shields approach and teachings of the Wilderness Awareness School.
This Youth Day programme has been designed for parents with children of ages 6-13.
We will introduce techniques and activities that aim to awaken the authentic joy innate to childhood when in connection with our natural selves and the community of life around us. Awareness of our shared surroundings is naturally expanded by igniting delight, curiosity and simply allowing ourselves to be fully there... and play!
Parents are first given an overview to the core philosophy and practices, and are then free to join the children in games or have time for themselves, as they wish. Children may be divided into smaller groups, depending on the ages and numbers of participants on the day.
