Julie Carlisle

Julie Carlisle has been involved in a broad spectrum of environmentally related programmes, projects and organisations for all of her adult life, working in Southern Africa.  She worked with Gareth Patterson with the Tuli lions in Botswana, was involved with various book editing and illustrating projects, established several environmental education projects in the Southern Cape where she also developed and implemented community and environmental projects.  She led the application to have the Garden Route declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.  Julie is passionate about connection to nature, and enabling encounters in nature that speak through hearts to shift perceptions.
